Set your new year resolution
Three simple things to consider in the new year
Hi
Happy new year, I would like to do at the start of this new year.
1. Let's start the new year with a winning personal plan that integrates all aspects of our busy lives
This is the time for making resolutions for many of us. I thought to put my amateur interest in personal development to some use and created a Personal Goals and Plan Builder. It's a simple spreadsheet tool that can help you build your personal mission statement, then list, categorise, prioritise and monitor long range goals and action plans and align these with business and professional objectives.
The tool is quite simple right now but I will enhance it as we use it and from your suggestions.
I hope this proves to be a useful new year gift to you. If you think so, please feel free to forward it to your friends and colleagues, and send me suggestions to improve.
2. Discover your strengths
I firmly believe that working on developing one's strengths gives more dividends than working on weaknesses. Gallup's strengthsfinder books and assessment test is based upon identifying your strengths and working with others on the basis of their strengths. Let's start the new year with a fresh discovery of our strengths! In my personal blog, I have reviewed Strengthsfinder 2.0 by Gallup. Please do take a look.
3. Donate for a good cause
What could be better than starting the new year with sharing a little of what you have got with those who are less fortunate.
