Mera Mundan Sanskar

There are traditional many rituals that surround the birth of child in Indian families. These traditions and rituals aim at blessing the child to have a long fulfilling life. One of these sacred ceremonies is known as Mundan Sanskar or the first haircut. The Mundan ceremony is an important tradition in India and relatives and friends are invited to bless the child. This first haircut of a child in India has an important significance.

The child usually receives his/her first Mundan in either the first year or the third year of age. To cool down the head and to cure nicks and cuts, a paste of turmeric and sandalwood is sometimes applied on the entire head. Thereafter, a child may be shaved now and then or never, depending on the desire of that particular family.

There is a significant reason as to why the head is shaved in such an elaborate ritualistic way. According to the Hindu beliefs, the hair present at birth is supposed to represent unwanted traits from the past lives. In order to make sure that the child has no undesirable qualities of the past birth in this life, the head is shaved off to ensure a new beginning and a fresh start. Medically, it is said that shaving off the hair stimulates the cells and improves blood circulation to the brain. Some also believe that this gives the child a long life.

Congratulation to B Obama

Many Many congratulation for making history to Mr. B Obama, A first non white and non American person to become President of United States of America. "He's NOT black actually He's HALF-black as well as very good cartoon character" I like his face very much.

I hope with his leadership American economy will grow and will support to grow other developing countries. Hope he will be more constructive and creative rather destructive like Baby Bush.

Celebrating Record of Sachin Tendulkar

सचिन रमेश तेंडुलकर is the first player to score 10,000 runs in One-day internationals, and has the most centuries in both Tests and ODIs. He is the only batsmen ever to make 12000 runs in test cricket. He is one of the three batsmen to surpass 11,000 runs in Test cricket and the first Indian to do so. He is the highest run scorer in both Test matches and ODIs, and also the batsman to score the most number of centuries in these two forms of the game.

Today I am sharing this joy with my 4month's Birth day. Sachin thanks for making this day historical.

Delhi Blast: A Mindless Act of Violence

It is very painful for me when this kind of news comes. Again today on a peaceful Friday, Delhi horrified by serial explosions. As a child I have no clue why this is happening but I am sure no one has clue after all who is getting benefits from this kind of heinous crime.
My appeal to the Honorable PM and Home Minister, is that only condemning will serve no purpose. Our Govt. must act in the strictest possible way to tack down the filthy perverted terrorists and punish them in the severest possible way.

Congratulation to Shri Mahendra Singh Dhoni for Khel Ratna Award

It's good to see Mahendra Singh Dhoni becoming only the second cricketer, a decade after Sachin Tendulkar, to be conferred the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, the country's highest sporting honour, at a glittering function at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Delhi, on Friday. Team India very well Supported Dhoni and gave him this moment at very early age. Though today's Team India's performance was very pathetic but at the end good thing is, Dhoni one more time able to create history by clinching first ever ODI series win in Sri Lanka against Sri Lanka.....Well Done Team India.....

Well Done India in Beijing !!!

I am feeling proud and lucky to see India's best Olympic Games performance amounted to three medals -- not many, perhaps, for the world's second most populous nation.

I'm very happy we have three individual medals and that too without hockey.

The India team won their first solo gold medal through rifle shooter Abhinav Bindra, plus bronzes for freestyle wrestler Sushil Kumar and middleweight boxer Vijender Kumar.

I believe the Beijing success will help India to shed its image as a nation that cares only about cricket and inspire the country to greater things when New Delhi hosts the Commonwealth Games in 2010. We will get a bagful of medals in Commonwealth games and then we can go on to (the 2012) London (Olympics).

I wish during London olympic I will be mature enough and will start learning some sport.

Happy Independence Day-My first One

I wish a Happy Independence Day to all my fellow Indians. It is indeed a day that reminds us of all freedom fighters who struggled for this day, thanks to all of them for showing us free India, infect I am feeling lucky to born in Independent India. I am proud to be an Indian.

As my bhaiyaji told, we have done a lot in last sixty-years but we could have done more. It's never late, I am sure India would be a developed nation by 2020, till the time I grow up and understand better exactly what freedom means!!!!. So far I only know my fundamental rights….. Su..su… Potty…and my food.

La....la....lori....La....La...Lori...I am listening a song

This week, relationship with my Maa is getting better & better, now I can feel her presence around me and try to give response to her. This the fact that she helps me alot through-out night and even care better at late night feeds. I suppose, and well, once the routine kicks in and people get used to it, things just fall into place so I will. I still hate wet nappys and nappy change.

Now I am with My Nanaji, Naniji and Shilpi Mousi. Naniji teaching new habbits......My vaccination is also done by my nanaji.
